To celebrate their 40th anniversary in 2002, the Rolling Stones embarked on a two-year world tour, performing 117 concerts in a wide variety of venues and stadiums across North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. ''Licked Live In NYC'' is dedicated to the January 18, 2003 show at Madison Square Garden in New York, where Sheryl Crow was a guest on "Honkey Tonk Women". Released incomplete at the time in the 'Four Flicks' box set, this concert has been remixed, remastered, and contains four unreleased tracks "Start Me Up", "Tumbling Dice", "Gimme Shelter" and "Sympathy For The Devil", plus three bonus tracks in Amsterdam and rehearsal footage.
